Tiny, itty-bitty delicate sprigs springing from the rugged rocks. Spotted these hiking outside Grand Marais one beautiful July day in 2013. The enormity of Lake Superior, the expanse of flora, fauna, fallen timbers, treetops, the home to habitat of all shapes and sizes. The universe surrounds and we are interconnected beyond our wildest dreams. There is comfort in this realization, above, below and beyond.
